Katowice is also the location for our new structure - the Regional Delivery Center, whose task is to serve the European markets of our clients, companies from the Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 rankings. As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.
You will be working as a part of Internal Finance R2R team. As a supervisor of the R2R Group you will relentlessly drive the accounting close based on IFRS and Group GAAP, process improvements, automation, efficiency and transparency. You will be responsible of the accounting of the Profit and Loss accounts.
At this role you will have possibility to work hybrid from the office in Katowice (2 days per week from the office).
- The Supervisor is a direct report to the Manager Group Accounting and indirect report of Director Accounting and Consolidation and be part of Group Finance
- Responsible for an efficient month end accounting closing in accordance and timeframe of the group requirements
- Responsible for providing relevant assistance for external and internal audit of financial statements
- Ensure monthly reporting of the Group Reporting Package
- Process all the transactions in the GL and perform monthly P&L reconciliations
- Coach the R2R team (5 FTEs) to efficiently align and be responsible for organizing and managing the work tasks, the performance reviews and development plans of team members
- Responsible for more daily operations, proactively identify and pre-empting issues or unexpected events and relentlessly improve processes, eliminate waste and drive efficiency
- University/College Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Minimum 5 years of experience in GL/R2R area and previous experience in similar position
- Good command of English (both verbal and written)
- Knowledge of accounting rules
- Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
- Knowledge of MS Dynamix is an advantage
- MS Office knowledge – very good excel skills
- Good knowledge of modern accounting practices
- Good communication and analytical skills and ability to lead the team
