The Business Development Director is responsible for creating and closing sales opportunities, bringing in new Regional and Global business to TMF and expanding the company’s market share across the fund administration/capital markets space
This individual will develop and maintain a network of prospects, and translate these prospects into clients, while also upselling and cross selling to an existing client portfolio. He / She will also develop and maintain a network of intermediaries within his/her Regio
The commercial focus of the role is to bring in new business for TMF Group’s portfolio of service
- Build a new business pipeline and upsell/cross-sell to existing clients.
- Analyse existing customer service portfolios to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Develop and execute a plan for non-complex local contract renewals.
- Collaborate with deal teams to ensure the best customer experience.
- Execute marketing campaigns to develop the required pipeline.
- Maintain TMF Sales Processes and Systems (CRM, sales forecasting, proposal building, etc.).
- Support local office sales and professional sellers with standard proposal generation.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in a commercial environment, consulting, accounting, or law firms.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong client relationships at all levels.
- Strong negotiation skills and results-oriented mindset.
- Experience in direct sales, pre-sales, and/or enablement in enterprise software/SaaS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
