Discover the Role

As Group Treasurer at TMF Group, you'll oversee global treasury operations, manage cash flow and liquidity, and develop strategies to mitigate financial risks. Your responsibilities include leading debt financing, monitoring foreign exchange exposure, and implementing cash forecasting processes. Strong analytical skills and leadership experience in corporate treasury are essential for making a significant impact on our financial success. You will be part of our Internal Finance team working closely with Group CFO and Group Finance Director. 


Key Responsibilities
Group treasurer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of treasury operations, including but not limited to:
  • Acting as business partner to the global business working closely with various departments within the organisation, as well as external partners such as banks and financial institutions
  • Manage the company's global cash flow and liquidity position to ensure efficient use of funds and optimize investment opportunities.
  • Develop and implement treasury strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate financial risks and maximize returns on investments.
  • Oversee debt financing activities, including negotiation of credit facilities and management of external and intercompany loan agreements.
  • Monitor and analyse foreign exchange exposure and develop hedging strategies to minimize currency risks.
  • Lead cash forecasting and budgeting processes to support strategic decision-making and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend banking relationships, including selection of banking partners and negotiation of service agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards related to treasury operations.
  • Take the lead in the Kyriba implementation and ensure that the rollout is achieved as per plan.
  • Develop treasury roadmap for the mid-to-long term and implement actions to achieve milestones.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the treasury team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

 Group Treasurer should always stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and industry best practices in treasury management.


Key Requirements
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, investment strategies, and risk management techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CTP certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate treasury, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Fluency in English
