As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.


Discover the Role

As an Accounting Officer, you will be the primary contact for our clients on financial, accounting, and tax matters. Working closely with the Legal Officer and under the guidance of the Supervisor Accounting, you will manage client relationships and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial operations.

 

You’ll be part of a collaborative and knowledgeable team, delivering tailored solutions and helping clients navigate complex financial environments with confidence.

 


Key Responsibilities

-       Manage daily accounting operations for a portfolio of clients.

-       Prepare financial statements in accordance with Dutch GAAP and IFRS.

-       Support financial consolidation processes, including intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries.

-       Ensure timely and accurate journal entries, cash flow tracking, and tax filings.

-       Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements.

-       Participate in client meetings and provide clear, professional financial guidance.

-       Identify and escalate accounting or tax issues, offering solutions where possible.

-       Contribute to internal process improvements and knowledge sharing.


Key Requirements

-         Financial-administrative degree (ACCA, CPA, ACA or a Bachelor’s degree SPD, HEAO AA, HEAO BE) or a comparable level achieved through exposure and experience.

-         Preferably a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant working experience.

-         Excellent knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (Dutch GaaP, IFRS and preferably US GaaP).

-         Thorough knowledge of finance, accounting and cost control principles.

-         Good knowledge of SAP, CaseWare and Dynamics.

-         Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

-         General interest in international financial/capital markets and financial instruments.

-       Solid understanding of IFRS standards (e.g., IFRS 10, 16) and their application in financial reporting.

-       Experience with financial consolidation in multi-entity environments.

-       Proficiency in accounting systems such as Dynamics, SAP or similar.

-       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-       Effective communication and collaboration across teams and with clients.

-       Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.

-       Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
