The purpose of this role is to deliver a wide range of legal, corporate services to TMF clients. The Senior Legal Executive works closely with the other lawyers in the Global Entity Management (GEM) team on a portfolio of international clients. This role is a 6-month contract.
- Manage and support client entities directors and boards, and as requested become part of these.
- Handle legal and corporate matters for our client companies independently and/or together with the GEM team such as filings, legal research, incorporations, dissolutions/de-registrations, shareholders and board meetings etc.
- Draft legal documents such as, minutes, proposals, legal letters, contracts, powers of attorney, etc.
- Review of financial statements.
- Review and completion of bank documents and forms for client companies as well as coordinate any required bank procedures, such as KYC.
- Review and assess legal documentation and advice from third parties and signal any legal or other issues.
- Provide financial, legal and administration services in scope for TMF clients in the Funds, Banks and Private equity sector, as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master of Laws (LL.M). Candidates with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) are invited to apply as well, if they have substantial legal (and compliance) experience and proven track record.
- Minimum of three years’ experience working in Finland with Corporate Law.
- Hands-on mentality; team player and excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication skills; fluent in both English and Finish
- Experience with applying control, risk and governance frameworks consistently.
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders' expectations.
