Discover the Role

TMF Fund Management in Dublin is recruiting for Designated Person for Operational Risk. In this position you are responsible for the day to day Operational Risk Management for the firm and funds.


Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for day to day Operational Risk Management for the firm and funds
  • Identification, measurement and management of Management Company risks with particular focus on processes, people risk, cyber security, business continuity and outsourcing. 
  • Design, implementation, monitoring and review of appropriate policies and procedures for TMF Fund Management Ireland (“TMF FMI”) and funds.
  • Ongoing review of the TMF FMI’s risk management framework
  • Oversight of service providers and delegates including initial and ongoing due diligence and assessment of adequacy of business continuity planning.
  • Review, selection and implementation of risk systems as appropriate. 
  • Preparation and ongoing risk assessments for TMF FMI and funds.
  • Responsible for ensuring DORA compliance for the firm
  • Development of an appropriate risk framework for new products, strategies or asset types.

 

Operations

 

  • Operational support for UCITS and AIFs to include, as appropriate: 
  • Onboarding preparations for new funds. 
  • Design and review of operational procedures. 
  • Transaction oversight.
  • Liaison with other service providers. 
  • Agreeing procedures, SLAs and SLDs. 
  • Escalation point for NAV review.

Key Requirements
  • At least 5 years’ senior management experience in a relevant funds related, asset management, administration, legal, risk, audit or regulatory role.
  • Operational experience of UCITS funds and AIFs.
  • Experience of working in a highly regulated environment.
  • third level qualification in business, finance or law.
  • The ability to translate regulations and CBI guidance into practical procedures. 
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • High awareness of the need to seek best solutions within a highly regulated context.
