This position will be responsible for overseeing and developing the TMF Group’s Philippines operations to ensure excellent service to customers, clients and partners. To set and ensure effective delivery of business targets that the company wants to achieve and ensure that these are correctly monitored. The person will also ensure that the local office operates successfully and maintains good relationships with clients, the other offices in the Group and business partners. The person will accomplish this through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by the objectives of TMF Group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Business Development: Identify and optimize opportunities for business growth and development to ensure continued success and expansion of the business.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and management that mirrors the mission and core values of TMF Group.
• Identify, develop and direct the implementation of Group business strategy.
• Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all internal and external processes. Provide timely, accurate, complete and insightful reports on the operating condition of the company.
• Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
• P&L Management: Plan and direct the organization’s activities to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for financial performance.
• Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
• People Management: Develop and lead a high performing management team focused on ensuring that all employees perform at optimum levels to grow the business and nurture new and existing client relationships.
• Recruit (where applicable), develop and engage managers, ensuring the Group is a first choice employer for the best talent in the business.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
• Build and implement project plans with Service Line teams to review pricing and fee schedules to ensure we remain appropriately and competitively priced in line with Group guidelines and parameters.
• Provide on-going support to Service Lines in developing and implementing plans that support department driven change and improvements for overall business initiatives.
• Continually identify and act, in collaboration with the Service Lines on new ways to improve efficiency of client administration work in order to increase profitability of TMF business and ensure Client Service Level Agreements are being met and maintained.
• Represents the company with clients and business partners.
• Foster a performance-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
• Acts as Director/nominee Directors for the local office and/or clients that may assume certain level of responsibilities and risks.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.
JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or related discipline. MBA would be highly preferred.
• General management of a mid to large team from a MNC environment, including business development experience in outsourcing services or professional firms in Accounting/ Corporate Secretarial/ Payroll verticals.
• A wide network of client relationships would be an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills and people management skills.
• A proven leader with the ability to motivate and drive departments to work together to achieve the set objectives and goals.
• Good communication skills coupled with the ability to liaise with people internationally, through spoken and written channels and at all levels.
• Able to ‘solution sell’ with the ability to listen to the clients and understand what they really need.
• Competencies: self-motivated, multi-tasking, flexible, thrives under pressure, result oriented, and excellent negotiation skills.
• Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.
• At least 15 years of experience in Professional Services or Accounting Firm/ Transactional Banking industry, out of which 5-8 years in a management capacity.
