Discover the Role

The Supervisor Depositary Officer is reporting directly to the Head Of Depositary Services. In this position you are reviewing and providing guidance related to checklists covering all core depositary activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review and provide guidance related to checklists covering all core depositary activities, including cash flow monitoring, oversight, and safekeeping. Ensure these activities are performed by officers in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Analysis of complex asset transactions in real estate, private equity, debt and trade financing from a legal and ownership perspective
  • Coordinate the review of fund documents (Prospectus, Service Agreement etc.) to ensure alignment with depositary duties
  • Review and validate the Depositary Control Reports (KPIs)
  • Provide daily support to the team by answering operational and regulatory questions related to fund structures, transactions, and depositary oversight duties
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections by providing requested documentation and control evidence
  • Review and analyze investor transactions (subscriptions and redemptions) and distributions to be Fund and Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) compliant
  • Assist in client meetings and on-site visits

Key Requirements
  • Degree in Law / Finance
  • 4 years or more experience in the financial sector
  • Knowledge in financial services sector and specifically in Private Equity and Real Estate Industry or Depositary would be ideal
  • Fluent in English (Knowledge of French and/or German will be considered as an asset)
  • Ability to document complex work in a structured principle
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Hands on and solution oriented
  • Enjoy working in a multicultural team
  • Basic Accounting background is an asset
  • Motivated and attention to details
  • Accuracy and organized
