Market Head of Financial Services NAC provides commercial leadership for the Financial Services client segment in the Market, driving increases in TMF Group’s revenue growth and client satisfaction. Reporting to the Global Head of Financial Services and the Market Head, the Market Head of Financial Services is a member of both the Global Financial Services Management team and the market Management team.
- Oversight of all Financial Services clients within the given Market, to include leadership of necessary business plans / account plans, to ensure growth in this segment. Responsibility extends to mapping opportunities across the market to drive growth plans in the Financial Service segment for local clients that are not part of the global relationship management approach.
- As part of the Global Financial Services leadership team, engage with the other Financial Services Segment heads to ensure TMF can execute best foot forward to all opportunities.
- Leadership of market business development (BD) for Financial Services clients; inbound and outbound business development leveraging TMF Group’s network, with line-management responsibility for BD colleagues in the Market.
- Leadership of relationship management (RM) for Financial Services clients managed in the Market; understand client needs and explore commercial opportunities, with line-management responsibility for Account Directors (ADs) in the Market and oversight of other colleagues performing RM services based in the market.
- Responsible for customer satisfaction of Financial Services clients where service is provided in the Market or where the relationship is managed out of the Market.
- Escalation management and issue resolution sits with the Market Practice Heads who report into the Market Head through the Country/Department leadership structure.
- The Financial Services Market Practice Leaders (Funds, Capital Markets, Family Office & HNW) in each Market are considered part of the Financial Services community. While they report through the Country/Department leadership structure they also have an alignment (but not formal reporting line) to their Global Practice Leader and to the Financial Services Segment Leader in their Market.
- All Market Practice Heads are also accountable to the Financial Services and Corporate Market Segment Leaders for delivery of flawless services to their clients.
- Individual contribution: expected to personally engage with clients e.g. to support on larger RFP’s, act as an RM for a portfolio of global clients or lead on service delivery issue resolution.
15+ years background in financial services, with hands on client service experience during some part of this time.
Proven track record of revenue growth; as a P&L owner and/or from BD/RM role with sales targets.
Experience in client relationship management, worked with key clients being responsible for delivery, execution, escalations and growing portfolio.
Demonstrable experience of operating at a senior level within a complex matrix-ed organisation.
- Strong commercial leader with ability to develop teams' relationship management skill set.
- Clear business development acumen, with ability to set strategy and mobilise team to execute.
- Strong skills in client relationship management, able to build, maintain and strengthen relationships with key global clients.
- Detailed understanding of the Financial Services practices value proposition.
- Capability to mentor Financial Services Market Practice Heads to evolve service capabilities and delivery model.
- Strong collaborator, with ability to work across markets and practices to leverage TMF Group’s network for commercial opportunities.
