Discover the Role

As a Junior Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for a portfolio of corporate clients for whom TMF Group provides world-class accounting services. In this role, you will be based in our Subotica hub and will support the delivery of accounting services for Hungarian clients. Your focus will be on managing accounting processes for less complex clients under the supervision, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the administrative operations of the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Assist in processing payments and billing activities, verifying completeness and correctness in line with company policies.
  • Manage bank account operations, including monitoring balances, preparing and executing payments, and tracking payment statuses.
  • Record incoming invoices and prepare documentation for the approval workflow.
  • Process bank transactions, cash register entries, invoices, and business travel expenses in accordance with internal guidelines.

Key Requirements
  • Fluency in Hungarian and English language is mandatory;
  • Preferably 1 year of experience in related field;
  • Bachelor Degree preferably in Accounting / Economy;
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles;
  • Professional manner and strong ethical code;
  • Excellent computer skills;
  • Readiness to meet deadlines.
