Discover the Role

As the Senior Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for providing a world class service to our clients in Bulgaria.

Since this is a senior role, you will stand as pivotal team member and assist the team with complex tasks, ensuring TMF’s clients are provided with efficient, professional, and high-quality services which meet all statutory obligations across payroll. In addition, you will also train and supervise our Junior team members and contribute to other's development. 


Key Responsibilities
  • Review payroll calculation for portfolio of assigned clients;
  • Manage payroll processing for clients with complex needs, ensuring compliance and accuracy while operating with minimal supervision;
  • Communicate with clients, state authorities or other third parties;
  • Identify errors or missing documentation provided by the client and takes relevant actions to clarify such;
  • Provide payroll information to client in time to ensure that their staff receives their salaries on time;
  • Labor legislation compliance;
  • Social security and health insurance compliance;
  • Provide assistance and review of everyday work of the Junior Payroll specialist/s;
  • Preparing routine correspondence to various parties.

 


Key Requirements

The successful candidate possesses deep knowledge of Bulgarian payroll legislations coupled with exemplary people skills. Integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills are highly valued attributes.

Ideally you are meeting following hiring criteria:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a senior role;
  • Advanced knowledge of  Bulgarian labor laws, and tax regulations;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while meeting strict deadlines;
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction and issue resolution;
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive data;
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
