Payroll Specialist in TMFGroup plays a vital role in our HR&Payroll team. From monthly payroll calculations to year-end adjustments and social labor insurance processes, Payroll Specialist provides high quality services to our clients. 

• Process monthly payroll for employees in Japan, including salary, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with Japanese labor laws, social insurance, and tax regulations.
• Maintain and update payroll records and employee data in HRIS/payroll systems.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
• Handle year-end tax adjustments (年末調整) and statutory filings.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax, and benefits.
• Liaise with external payroll vendors and government agencies as needed.
• Support audits and internal controls related to payroll processes.

• Continuously improve payroll procedures and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
• other tasks as assigned by the company

• High School Diploma or above
• A solid understanding of local Japanese payroll practices and labor law
• 2+ years experience of hands-on Payroll experience
• Experience / Knowledge of Japanese 社会保険 and processing
• Experience / Knowledge of Year-End Adjustments （年末調整)
