Discover the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Leader to drive global process improvement initiatives across IT and Technology functions. This role focuses on achieving efficiency targets, mentoring Lean Six Sigma professionals, and collaborating with senior leadership to implement impactful changes. You will lead continuous improvement projects using Lean and statistical methodologies, ensuring measurable business benefits and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Operational Excellence initiatives across global IT/Technology teams.
  • Meet or exceed agreed financial benefits for the calendar year.
  • Collaborate with frontline, middle management, and senior leadership to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Coach and mentor Lean Six Sigma Leads in executing projects using defined methodologies.
  • Apply Lean and statistical tools for continuous improvement projects.
  • Publish and review process/business metrics regularly and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct Lean Six Sigma training sessions based on team skill sets.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, root cause analysis, and quality assurance practices.
  • Act as trainer, coach, and mentor for Yellow Belts, Green Belts, and Black Belts.
  • Define, measure, and implement continuous improvement frameworks globally.
  • Ensure successful implementation of new practices/processes and global initiatives.
  • Monitor performance metrics (SLAs/KPIs) and conduct performance reviews to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Key Requirements
  • Master’s degree in any discipline (preferred: Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics).
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from a reputed institute (e.g., Indian Statistical Institute, ASQ).
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Operational Excellence roles.
  • Proficiency in Minitab; knowledge of R Studio, Python, and BI tools preferred.
  • Experience working with global teams and familiarity with ISO/CMMI/ISMS standards.
  • Proven track record in mentoring Lean Six Sigma GB & BB projects and training resources.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
