Discover the Role

The Client Onboarding Specialist plays a key role in delivering a seamless onboarding experience from new clients, from initial engagement through to the launch of fund structures. This role requires strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management
    1. Act as the primary point of contact for new clients during the onboarding process, providing guidance and support.
    2. Build and maintain strong client relationships from onboarding through fund launch, ensuring professional, responsive, client-centric approach.
    3. Participate in prospective client calls and support the preparation of tailored presentations and materials.
  • Onboarding Coordination
    1. Manage the end-to-end client acceptance process, ensuring all required documentation is complete, accurate and approved.

    2. Collect and review client information, perform due diligence/KYC checks in line with compliance standards.
    3. Maintain and regularly update onboarding trackers to monitor progress, timelines and key milestones.
    4. Coordinate entity set-up activities, liaising effectively with internal teams and external service providers.
    5. Facilitate third-party due diligence processes, including the organization of onsite visits where required.
  • Operational and Administrative Support
    1. Support the preparation of internal committee materials and presentations.

    2. Coordinate the opening of bank accounts for client entities.
    3. Assist with drafting and reviewing service agreements, including involvement in discussion around fund documentation.
    4. Ensure all records, documentation and files are maintained accurately in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Internal Collaboration
    1. Develop strong working relationships across internal teams to enhance operational efficiency and ensure timely resolution of client queries.

    2. Act as a connector between stakeholders to drive coordination and smooth execution of onboarding activities.


Key Requirements
  • Bachelor or master degree in financial services, Law, Accounting or related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally within the fund industry or broader financial services environment.
  • Strong relationship management skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) ; additional languages are considered an advantage.
  • Highly organized with strong, analytical, and prioritization skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented and results-driven approach.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Confident self-starter with collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to positively influence stakeholders across different departments and level of seniorities.
