The HR & Payroll Market Practice Leader drives growth and market positioning by shaping strong propositions, identifying new opportunities, and delivering effective go‑to‑market strategies. You will partner across commercial, delivery, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution and an exceptional client experience, while representing the Practice with key industry stakeholders. This role is ideal for a strategic, commercially minded leader who can influence, innovate, and deliver results in a complex environment.
- Utilize knowledge of the service line (“Practice”) and industry to identify new opportunities for growth and assist with innovation and proposition development initiatives.
- Define, design, and deliver a go-to-market plan that delivers the required new business growth for the Market Practice in partnership with other leaders at the market level and in the Client organisation.
- Support strategic new and expanded business opportunities, client retention, and critical client escalations.
- Nurture efficient and effective cooperation across different functions (commercial, service delivery, client management, capex requirements, and operations and technology etc.).
- Responsible for the end-to-end proposition of their Market Practice for locally-managed clients.
- Optimise use of technology to provide industry-leading products and solutions, ensuring optimal client user experience.
- Engage with and manage relationships with analysts and other industry/professional bodies such as Everest, Gartner, etc.
- Collaborate with Marketing Function to drive brand awareness and value proposition via multiple channels (digital, events, PR etc.)
- Significant relevant practice experience (minimum 7 years), with hands-on client service and/or sales experience.
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth in a P&L, sales or similar Practice role.
- Experience in client relationship management, worked with key clients being responsible for delivery, execution, escalations and growing portfolio.
- Demonstrable experience of operating at a senior management level within a complex and matrixed organisation.
- Demonstratable talent-management experience.
- Industry expert in the relevant Practice.
- Strategic thinker with strong decision-making and organisational skills with proven experience in executing strategy and plans.
- Ability to collaborate, define, and deliver outcomes within a market matrix environment across a broad set of cultures and business practices.
- Gravitas to engage with stakeholders from all levels of the business.
- Growth mindset and high-energy “get it done” attitude to drive change within the market.
- Experience building and managing market-wide relationships and partnering with cross-functional leaders and teams.
- Extensive sales experience with the ability to originate, drive, and close new business opportunities.
- Strong customer service experience with a proven ability to produce positive results.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to articulate results and ideas clearly and concisely using a variety of media/formats.
- Acts with the highest level of integrity, generating trust and protecting TMF’s interests.
- Ability to work under pressure without formal structure and with minimal supervision.
