Provide professional services on corporate secretarial matters for a portfolio of local and international clients, including incorporating and managing corporate structures.
Managing a team, and assisting the HOD to streamline processes, increase revenue & productivity and enhance staff morale.
- Manage a portfolio of high priority/complex client companies by providing full set of corporate secretarial services.
- Able to assist with technical queries/structures.
- Board Support and Board Meeting Assistance.
- Assisting with ASIC class orders requirements.
- On boarding of new clients .
- Ensure compliance with the Corporations Act 2001 and other regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Maintain good relationship with client and team
- Preparation and issue of invoices and follow up on payment and follow up debts
- Build up opportunities for additional services providing to existing clients
- Liaise with internal service line teams for client service
- Assist in maintaining smooth operation of the team
- Supervise/manage and review subordinates’ work
- Ensure mid-year and annual performance review are completed by the due date
- Assist the Manager to monitor & manage the productivity and effectiveness of the team
- Assist with Know Your Client (KYC)
- Ad hoc tasks as and when required
- Minimum 5-7 years’ relevant experience gained from professional firms/ CPA firm/law firm with 4 years in supervisory level
- Degree holder in Business/Law/Accounting/Tax with 5 years relevant experience gained in a professional firm/CPA firm/law firm
- Member of ICSA / Governance Institute of Australia
- Prior experience in client servicing environment is essential
- Knowledge of Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) is preferred
- Excellent knowledge in local country company regulations and familiar with regulations of other overseas jurisdictions
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Independent and able to work under pressure
