Database Development & SQL Expertise

• Gather technical and business requirements and convert them into robust database solutions.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL procedures, functions, and scripts.
• Write, review, and optimize complex SQL queries for supporting business operations.
• Ensure database performance, security, and data integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced database-related issues.
• Document database structures, stored procedures, and queries.

Architecture & Technical Delivery

• Participate in system design phases and contribute to architecture for medium-to-large projects.
• Produce technical specifications and ensure alignment with non-functional requirements.
• Write, review, and maintain clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Automate processes using Python or R.

Stakeholder & Client Collaboration

• Interact with clients to understand requirements and deliver appropriate database solutions.
• Collaborate with application teams and business analysts to integrate SQL logic into applications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives.

Mentorship & Leadership

• Lead technical discussions and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Support team members in developing technical skills.

Analytics & BI Tools

• Provide technical assistance and training on BI tools like Power BI, Qlik Sense, and MSTR.
• Work on analytical tools to support business intelligence and reporting needs.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field.

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL development, database management, and data analytics environments.
• Experience handling complex or large-scale database projects.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL (procedures, functions, optimization).
• Knowledge of ETL processes.
• Experience in Python, R, or JavaScript for automation.
• Knowledge of:
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
  • Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
  • NoSQL/NewSQL databases
  • Handling large Excel datasets
• Exposure to BI tools: Power BI, Qlik Sense, MSTR.
