Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.

- Implement and monitor the maker-checker process to maintain authenticity and compliance in vendor payments.

- Directly supervise 4–5 employees and provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members to ensure high-quality output.

- Oversee vendor management, including reconciliations, payment cycles, and query resolution.

- Ensure accurate and timely booking with adherence to TDS and GST compliances.

- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors, ensuring complete and accurate documentation is provided.

- Maintain a real-time service agreement tracker, ensuring proactive control over expiring agreements.

- Review and manage provisions and prepaid expenses in line with accounting standards.

- Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software such as Tally and SAP concur for efficient accounts payable management.

- Utilize advanced Excel skills for reconciliations, reporting, and data analysis.

- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

- Implement controls to minimize errors, reduce risks, and enhance compliance.

- Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
