The Junior Test Analyst supports TMF's Digital Client Platform (DCP) by assisting in the execution of end‑to‑end testing across various TMF digital solutions. This role plays a foundational part in ensuring that system configurations, data flows, and digital processes meet functional and technical requirements before being implemented for internal teams and external clients.
A core focus of the position is Country Setup End‑to‑End Testing, essential for enabling accurate and compliant global payroll service delivery. The role also contributes to testing activities across multiple integrated systems such as Lexicon, Optix, ENATE, Data Parsers, and supports User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Optix releases. Working closely with Senior Test Analysts and the Test Lead, the Junior Test Analyst helps ensure high‑quality outcomes and consistent adherence to TMF’s global testing standards.
Test Planning & Preparation
- Support in creating and reviewing test plans and scenarios based on requirements.
- Prepare test cases and maintain test documentation with guidance from senior team members.
- Assist in collecting, preparing, and validating test data.
- Participate in test readiness activities and kickoff sessions.
Test Execution
- Execute assigned test cases accurately and within scheduled timelines.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing across TMF digital platforms.
- Support validation of new TMF office configurations and client environments.
- Carry out user access, profile setup, and system configuration testing.
Defect Management
- Log defects with clear evidence, reproduction steps, and required details.
- Retest resolved defects and update logs accordingly.
- Escalate blockers or critical issues to Senior Analysts or the Test Lead when needed.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Senior Test Analysts, product teams, developers, and implementation teams.
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and challenges.
- Participate in test review sessions and support sign‑off procedures.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain updated test cases, execution results, and defect logs.
- Use TMF's test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) effectively.
- Contribute to improving reusable assets, reports, and standard templates.
Quality & Standards
- Follow TMF’s testing methodologies, documentation standards, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure testing is carried out according to established frameworks and best practices.
- Support continuous improvement within the QA function.
Experience & Technical Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in software testing, QA, or related fields (internship/academic exposure also considered).
- Basic knowledge of functional testing, defect lifecycle, test design, and documentation.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar test management tools (preferred).
- Understanding of payroll, HR, accounting, or financial systems is an advantage.
- Interest in developing skills in automation or performance testing (e.g., Selenium, JMeter).

Education & Certifications
- University degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology, or equivalent.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.
