Discover the Role

As Accountant, you will be in charge, within TMF’s accounting department, of the support to our international clients in their establishment and development in Belgium.
Under the supervision of the Senior Accountants and Supervisor, you will be required to perform all types of work on your client portfolio, in all areas of the accounting expertise.


Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the timely and correct handling of all matters concerning the day to day bookkeeping of the client portfolio
  • Sorting and filing documents into: third party invoices, company’s sale invoices, bank statements, cash documents and other correspondence.
  • Booking of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank, lettering, payroll and payments
  • Verifying the completeness and consistency of accounting information received.
  • Preparation of monthly or quarterly basic closing transactions and reconciliation (e.g. VAT centralisation…).
  • Working in compliance with all TMF’s procedures and follow the mandatory trainings.
  • Any other task assigned by the Senior Accountant.

Key Requirements
  • Professional knowledge of English (B2 level minimum);
  • Bachelor in Accounting/ Tax 
  • At least 1/2 years experience in an accounting firm
  • Autonomy, anticipation, responsiveness, hands on mentality and team spirit is key
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams) is an asset
