Our clients rely on us to keep their entities compliant with local and international regulations while supporting their business growth. As a Senior Legal Officer, you will be the main point of contact for clients in the Netherlands on legal and compliance matters. Working closely with the Accounting Officer and under supervision of the Supervisor Legal, you will manage client relationships, support legal structures, and help clients navigate complex environments.You will join a proactive, collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality, tailored services.
This role is part of the Chinese Desk and requires fluent Chinese.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key external stakeholders
- Provide corporate secretarial support and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Support incorporations, restructurings, share transfers and entity changes
- Draft and review legal documents (e.g. agreements, minutes, resolutions)
- Maintain company records, filings and regulatory registrations
- Identify risks and liaise with clients, advisors and internal stakeholders
- Ensure client entities remain compliant with Dutch regulations
- Monitor and resolve compliance matters and maintain accurate client data
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality service
- University degree in (Dutch) law (civil, notarial or fiscal)
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience, ideally in a similar or multinational environment
- Solid knowledge of corporate law and regulations
- Fluent in English and Chinese (mandatory)
- Strong client focus and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to think proactively and work in structured and unstructured environments
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Team player with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
- 26 holidays per year (40 hour work week)
