We are looking for an experienced Learning & Development leader who thrives in a global, matrixed environment and enjoys making a visible impact. In this role, you will lead an L&D team and partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business to shape and deliver learning solutions that support organisational priorities. You will bring together strategic thinking, hands‑on delivery, strong people leadership and deep subject‑matter expertise.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring learning is practical, high‑quality and closely aligned to business needs. It is suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple programmes and stakeholders, uses data to drive informed decisions, and can turn complex business challenges into engaging, effective learning experiences. Sitting within the HR function, the role directly contributes to learning strategy while continuously building team capability and long‑term impact.
- Lead and develop an L&D team, fostering strong performance, engagement and capability growth.
- Design and deliver learning programmes aligned to organisational and business priorities.
- Act as an L&D subject‑matter expert on complex, global initiatives alongside HR and business stakeholders.
- Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships through data‑driven insight and learning impact.
- Allocate team resources effectively across programmes and projects.
- Take accountability for the quality, impact and volume of learning delivered.
- Execute and review learning strategy in line with evolving business needs.
- 10–13 years’ experience in Learning & Development or a closely related discipline within a large, global organisation.
- Proven experience leading teams, delivering projects and managing senior stakeholders.
- Recognised expertise in one or more L&D areas, with strong learning design and facilitation capability.
- Experience delivering learning to senior and executive audiences.
- Ability to use data and insight to inform learning decisions and business conversations.
- Strong communication and influencing skills at management and executive level.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
