Discover the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Senior Specialist to join our Accounting and Taxation team. This role plays an important part in ensuring accounting processes are handled accurately and on time.

The candidate will work closely with the team to support smooth operations, improve processes, and maintain strong financial controls.


Key Responsibilities

1. Month‑End Closure & Reporting

  • Support the Head of Accounts during month‑end close activities.
  • Help review expenses and prepare reports as needed.
  • Maintain accurate schedules for accruals and prepayments.

2. Compliance & Controls

  • Review financial records and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle reconciliations for bank, vendor, customer, employee, and intercompany accounts.

3. Policies & Processes

  • Help update and improve finance policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency.

4. Accounts Payable

  • Ensure supplier invoices are matched correctly with receipts and processed on time.
  • Respond to Accounts Payable queries and resolve issues within agreed timelines.

Key Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA Inter or similar qualification is preferred.

Experience

  • 8–9 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with exposure to team handling.

Technical Skills

  • Good understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Hands‑on experience with accruals, depreciation, and amortization.
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivots).
  • Experience working with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Tally.

Soft Skills

  • Clear communication and good documentation skills.
  • Ability to work well with teams and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable taking ownership and guiding team members.
