The RDC HRP Lead – India is responsible for leading and scaling end‑to‑end HR and Payroll service delivery from the India Regional Delivery Centre (RDC) for international countries within the agreed global scope.
The role holds full accountability for service performance, operational excellence, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement across HR and payroll processes delivered from India. This includes leading large teams, managing complex global service delivery, supporting transitions into the RDC, and embedding standardized, compliant, and efficient ways of working.
- Lead and manage HR and Payroll service delivery for global regions from RDC India, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, quality, and compliance with agreed SLAs and KPIs
- Provide senior operational leadership for HRP teams and team leaders, including capacity planning, prioritization, performance management, and issue resolution
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex service, delivery, or stakeholder issues and lead structured root‑cause analysis and resolution
- Own and support transitions of HR and payroll activities from other RDCs or local offices into RDC India, including readiness, knowledge transfer, stabilization, and post‑go‑live governance
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders such as HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal/Compliance, IT, and regional/local offices
- Drive operational excellence through process standardization, documentation, controls, and consistent execution across the RDC
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability
- Ensure strong risk management, data security, and compliance with internal governance and audit requirements
- Lead people development through coaching, capability building, succession planning, and recruitment to support RDC growth
- Monitor productivity, cost‑to‑serve, backlog, and workflow health, and provide data‑driven input into resourcing and operational planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 8–12 years of experience in HR operations and/or payroll delivery, with 3–5+ years in a senior leadership role within a shared services, RDC, or global operations environment
- Strong end‑to‑end knowledge of HR and payroll processes, controls, and compliance in a multi‑country or global delivery model
- Proven experience leading large teams, managing service delivery performance, and driving operational transformation at scale
- Prior exposure to transitions/migrations, shared services setup, or RDC expansion is strongly preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and manage expectations at senior levels
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using service metrics, productivity data, and reporting to drive decisions
- High risk, control, and data‑security awareness with an audit‑ready approach to documentation and governance
- Comfortable working with HRIS/payroll systems, digital tools, and data‑driven performance management
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage
- Flexibility to work India standard hours with ability to support global time zones as required
