Discover the Role

This role is responsible for defining and driving the global Accounting & Tax technology strategy, ensuring a scalable, compliant, and cost‑effective technology landscape that supports growth, efficiency, and consistent service delivery. The role provides strategic leadership over A&T platforms, AI and automation adoption, and application estate governance, acting as a central control point to enable standardisation, integration, and value creation across countries while meeting local regulatory and operational needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a forward-looking, competitive A&T technology roadmap, allowing for market and technology trends. The roadmap should support increased revenue, improved margin, consistent delivery outcomes and the launch of new go-to-market offerings
  • Oversee the A&T product managers in the selection, implementation and integration of a suite of technology solutions that meet the needs A&T and its clients
  • Drive the implementation of AI and automation across the A&T service lines
  • Drive the consistent adoption and good usage of A&T solutions by the business
  • Represent A&T requirements in the development of the TMF Client Portal Strategy
  • Oversee solution selection exercises, contractual negotiations and ongoing vendor management
  • Ensure compatibility and integration across A&T applications and adherence to TDA requirements
  • Rationalise and consolidate A&T application estate, ensuring value for money solution selection
  • Act as a control point within the A&T community in technology solution selection, reducing duplicative functionality across solutions and countries 
  • Maintain country-level A&T application landscapes, allowing a singular view of the technology setup by country. This will apply in countries and locations serviced by both TMF and its Subcontractors
  • Support the countries in the design of a solution estate that meets local compliance and operational requirements whilst minimising complexity
  • Drive initiatives for continuous process improvement and increased automation.
  • Provide oversight to and assure major A&T technology programmes, ensuring programmes define and manage scope, budget, plan and deliver specified outcomes

Key Requirements
  • Proven experience defining and owning enterprise‑scale technology roadmaps aligned to commercial objectives (revenue growth, margin improvement, delivery consistency)
  • Strong leadership capability overseeing product managers and cross‑functional teams, including solution selection, implementation, and system integration
  • Demonstrated success driving AI and automation initiatives across business service lines at scale
  • Ability to drive adoption and effective usage of technology solutions across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience representing business requirements in the development of client‑facing digital platforms
  • Expertise in solution sourcing (build vs buy), vendor selection, contractual negotiations, and ongoing vendor management
  • Solid understanding of application architecture, integration, and governance, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and requirements
  • Proven track record in application estate rationalisation and consolidation, delivering value for money and reducing duplication
  • Experience acting as a central governance and control point for technology decision‑making across regions or business units
  • Ability to maintain and govern country‑level application landscapes, providing transparency across in‑house and subcontracted delivery models
  • Strong understanding of balancing global standardisation with local compliance and operational needs
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with experience driving process optimisation and increased automation
  • Experience providing oversight and assurance of major technology programmes, including scope, budget, planning, and outcome delivery
