Discover the Role

The Payroll Officer assists the Senior Payroll Officer, Payroll Lead Officer and/or Payroll Supervisor to manage all matters of the Clients as stated in the agreed Statement of Work, specifically handling the Clients’ payroll and ensures that all payroll-related services are accurately and timely delivered to the Clients.


Key Responsibilities

·       Performs daily work (less complexity), including semi-monthly or monthly payroll calculations, payroll registers, final payment calculation, data input in payroll system, preparation and submission of employer’s statutory returns, funds reconciliation and etc.;

·       Maintains good relationship with Clients;

·       Assists in the start-up and management of the payroll administration for new Clients;

·       Executes the procedures in the work program assigned;

·       Produces deliverables with accuracy and quality, and submits the same within set deadlines;

·       Updates superiors of work progress, gives feedback on work performed, difficulties encountered and issues identified;

·       Acts as a back-up when the Senior Payroll Officer or Payroll Lead Officer is on leave;

·       Performs other duties as may be assigned.


Key Requirements

·       Degree Holder in Business, Human Resources or Accountancy disciplines or any related discipline;

·       1 to 2 years of relevant experience with multinational companies or professional firms;

·       Good working knowledge of the local country tax, statutory and labor and employment rules and regulations;

·       Understands labor and taxation rules/standards and relevant laws impacting payroll sufficiently to perform the job

·       Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of client’s payroll policies

·       Fluent in both spoken and written English.
