This role is designed for someone who can consistently produce reliable outputs, handle moderately complex work with confidence, and support the broader team through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Senior Associates are expected to operate with a growing level of independence, apply sound judgment in day‑to‑day delivery, and contribute to a stable and scalable operating model by reinforcing strong processes, controls, and teamwork.
Fund Accounting & Client Delivery
· Prepare and review core fund accounting deliverables, including NAVs, investor allocations, capital account statements, capital calls, distributions, and related accounting schedules.

Financial Reporting & Audit Support
· Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (US GAAP and/or IFRS).
· Support year‑end audits and tax processes by preparing schedules, responding to queries, and working collaboratively with auditors and internal stakeholders.
· Apply fund documentation and internal procedures appropriately across accounting and reporting activities.
Judgment, Controls & Risk Awareness
· Identify discrepancies, errors, or unusual items and take ownership of resolving or escalating them as appropriate.
· Demonstrate sound judgment in determining when issues can be resolved independently versus when Manager input is required.
· Consistently follow internal controls and contribute to reducing operational and audit risk through disciplined execution.
Team Support & Collaboration
· Act as a point of support for junior team members by answering questions, offering guidance, and assisting with preliminary reviews of work.
· Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge, reinforcing best practices, and supporting smooth workflow execution.
· Assist with onboarding or transition of work by helping junior staff understand expectations and quality standards.
Process Awareness & Continuous Improvement
· Understand team objectives related to efficiency, quality, and sustainable growth.
· Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and contribute ideas for process or control improvements.
· Demonstrate strong task management, clear communication, and accountability for assigned responsibilities.
Education & Professional Background
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
· Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress.
Experience & Technical Skills
· Typically 2–4 years of experience in fund accounting, audit, or fund administration.
· Exposure to alternative investment funds (e.g., Private Equity, Private Debt, Hedge, or Closed‑Ended Funds) preferred.
· Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS and core fund accounting principles.
· Experience with fund accounting systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skills is an advantage.
Personal Attributes
· Detail‑oriented, reliable, and committed to producing high‑quality work.
· Comfortable working independently while recognizing when to seek guidance.
