Discover the Role

The Senior Executive – Business Development is responsible for creating and closing local sales opportunities, generating new local business in the market, and expanding existing client relationships.

This role supports inbound sales processes by providing proposals to global sellers, while also contributing to upselling and cross-selling within an existing client portfolio. The role is also responsible for non-complex renewal processes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse existing client service portfolios to develop a heat map of additional services, including one-off services, to support upselling and cross-selling within existing clients
  • Build an expiring contract map by country and, for non-complex renewals, develop an activity plan for each contract expiration to ensure timely renewal
  • Focus on execution and the ability to perform at pace while collaborating with others
  • Develop the business by building a new business pipeline, as well as supporting upselling and cross-selling to existing clients
  • Work as part of a deal team to support a high-quality client experience and response, including sharing opportunities across different sales teams (markets and regions) to increase the likelihood of success and enable knowledge sharing
  • Execute marketing campaigns to develop the required pipeline
  • Adopt and maintain TMF Sales processes and systems as part of daily responsibilities (including CRM maintenance, sales forecasting processes, proposal building tools, deal qualification tools, and sales dashboards)
  • Provide support to Local Office sales teams and professional sellers with standard proposal generation and delivery
  • Support inbound sales processes by providing proposals to global senior sellers
  • Support the local office with administrative tasks (e.g. updating CRM, following up on KYC processes)
  • Work as part of a deal team to support a high-quality client experience and response
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, sales, marketing, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in a commercial environment, or within consulting, accounting, or law firms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels
  • Ability to apply a consultative (“solution selling”) approach, prioritising understanding client needs
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to manage priorities and workload effectively
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience working in or with direct sales, pre-sales, and/or enablement in an enterprise software and/or SaaS environment
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Salesforce is an advantage
