As the HR & Payroll Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing a world class payroll service to our clients in Slovenia. Since this is a senior role, you will stand as pivotal team member and assist the team with complex tasks, ensuring TMF’s clients are provided with efficient, professional, and high-quality services which meet all statutory obligations. In addition, you will also train and supervise our junior team members and contribute to other's development.
Through work for various clients from different industries, you will have the opportunity to enrich your knowledge of payroll complexities.
- Participate in onboarding of new clients
- Proactively monitor client requests, suggest services, and support positive NPS
- Contribute to projects at office, market, and group level
- Process payroll, other income, and receipts in line with regulations and deadlines
- Handle payroll calculations for employees assigned to/from Slovenia
- Prepare posting files, reports, and payroll confirmations
- Review and verify payroll calculations, records, and reports
- Submit payroll reports and tax returns to Slovenian authorities
- Prepare pension fund documentation and work permit/posting submissions
- Communicate with authorities and external stakeholders
- Stay up to date with payroll, tax, and social security legislation
- Mentor junior HR & Payroll team members
- Suggest workflow and system improvements
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain accurate timesheet records
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Ideally you are meeting following hiring criteria:
- Minimum 5+ years of relevan payroll experience;
- Very good knowledge of relevant local tax legislations;
- Experience in mentoring and training junior members of the team;
- Ability to communicate and interact well with clients, business partners and colleagues;
- Previous experience in multinational and/or service company is an advantage;
- Goodl level of English;
- Very good computer literacy, specifically Excel;
- Open-minded, pro-active and with problem-solving attitude
