Key Responsibilities

Investor On-Boarding & Due Diligence

  • Manage and execute end-to-end AML/KYC on-boarding for new investors
  • Review and assess AML/KYC documentation across multiple entity types, including low-risk and medium-risk investors
  • Create and maintain accurate, compliant investor on-boarding profiles in line with regulatory and internal standards
  • Perform periodic reviews and remediation activities based on investor risk ratings
  • Maintain well-organized records and documentation in accordance with audit and regulatory requirements

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Apply global and local AML/KYC regulatory guidance and internal policies effectively
  • Utilize screening tools to identify financial crime risks
  • Escalate material risks, issues, or breaches in a timely and structured manner
  • Maintain globally agreed quality standards and pass rates for the process
  • Support ongoing compliance monitoring and controls testing activities

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Partner with client-facing teams to obtain complete and accurate KYC documentation
  • Frequently interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and strong working relationships
  • Support workload planning, case prioritization, and operational delivery in collaboration with business partners
  • Contribute to team meetings and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Key Requirements

Key Requirements - 

  • 1-2 years of experience in AML/KYC, investor services, compliance, or related financial services operations
  • Working knowledge of AML, KYC, and compliance principles
  • University degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience handling multiple client types, including corporates and financial institutions
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry and regulatory landscape
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to manage conflict effectively
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • High attention to detail with strong controls and risk mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Prior experience in investor services, fund administration, or FinTech environments
  • Experience with Fenergo or similar KYC workflow platforms is a plus
  • Experience using World-Check or comparable sanctions and PEP screening tools is a plus
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing regulatory and business requirements
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and professional development
  • Experience supporting process re-engineering or technology initiatives
  • Strong relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams
  • Proactive approach to identifying training needs and pursuing skill development
