As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in advising and supporting the business on a wide range of corporate, governance, and regulatory matters within the Netherlands. Sitting within a global legal function, you will go beyond traditional legal support by partnering closely with stakeholders across the organisation to proactively manage legal risks and enable business growth.

• Advise business teams on legal risks, including directors’ liability, claims, litigation, and complex transactions
• Support local management on corporate governance, regulatory matters, and legal strategy
• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of legal documents, including intercompany and supplier agreements
• Manage corporate housekeeping activities for the internal group structure, including decision-making documentation
• Provide legal support across areas such as procurement, HR, and entity management
• Assist in governance-related matters in collaboration with the Market Head of Legal
• Liaise with external stakeholders including legal advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities
• Collaborate with the Global Legal Function on key projects and priorities
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and compliance frameworks

• Master’s degree in Dutch law (corporate or notarial law preferred)
• Approximately 4–6 years of relevant legal experience
• Strong interest in corporate law, contract law, and regulatory matters
• Solid understanding of risk management and governance principles
• Commercial mindset with the ability to translate legal advice into practical solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
• Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken)
