People:
- Supporting employees in lower Job Bands when necessary;
- Directing and controlling part of the dedicated team;
- Acting as a Deputy to the Manager in substantive tasks;
- Driving engagement within the team;
- Providing ongoing feedback relating to the work performed;
- Supporting analysis of team capacity from the perspective of allocation of an additional client or additional team member;
- Checking and approving timesheets;
- Coaching employees in lower Job Bands regarding client contact and engagement;
- Ensuring that all team members contacting clients follow TMF policy regarding client communication;
- Taking part in recruitment and onboarding processes.
Operations:
- Responsible for preparation of financial statements (statutory and consolidated) for statutory purposes;
- Responsible for preparation of group reporting in the format required by the client;
- Preparing supporting analyses of all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis;
- Initiating and taking part in process improvement projects;
- Any other tasks assigned by the Manager.
Compliance:
- Reviewing transactions posted by employees in lower Job Bands;
- Reviewing and verifying journal vouchers, payroll records, sales and purchase ledgers, etc.;
- Consulting with the Accounting Manager on difficult and non-standard accounting issues;
- Identifying out-of-scope services and providing respective information to the Manager;
- Reviewing GUS, NBP and any other declaration/report as required by law;
- Reviewing and sending (e-signing) tax calculations/returns/financial statements of allocated clients in accordance with tax regulations on behalf of the client based on Power of Attorney or UPL;
- Providing advice on complicated accounting matters;
- Demonstrating initiative to clarify issues, identify savings and efficiencies for clients and processes within the team, proactively sharing best practices;
- Working in compliance with all company procedures and related requirements;
- Keeping up to date with tax and accounting law changes.
Customers:
- Attending meetings with existing and potential clients;
- Responsible for the full range of accounting activities performed for allocated clients;
- Communicating with clients regarding a wide range of operational issues;
- Demonstrating initiative to clarify issues, identify savings and efficiency for clients;
- Tracking profit margin of clients;
- Attending the billing process.

Education: Fully qualified accountant with a master’s degree (preferably in finance and accounting, economics or a related field).
Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience in the full accounting area. At least 3–5 years of experience in preparing tax returns and financial statements. At least 1 year of experience in managing a small team (3–8 people). Previous working experience with accounting software (knowledge of Enova is compulsory). Experience in the outsourcing industry is an advantage.
Languages: English at a minimum level of B2 with knowledge of technical vocabulary. Good command of the Polish language is compulsory – at least C1 level. Functional fluency in spoken communication.
Certifications: Ministry of Finance permit, Polish Chartered Accountant, ACCA (completed or in progress) is an advantage.
Other: Very good knowledge of accounting principles and tax law. Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
