As a VAT Recovery Associate, you will support clients throughout the VAT recovery process by preparing, reviewing, and submitting VAT claims. You will ensure the accuracy and quality of client data, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to meeting client expectations and team deadlines. This role offers the opportunity to develop strong analytical, administrative, and client service skills in an international environment.

• Ensure the completion and submission of VAT claims and any other requests from tax authorities;
• Build a first-rate professional relationship with assigned clients, acting as the main point of contact when required;
• Process client activity information, including purchase invoices;
• Liaise with TMF offices, subcontractors, and tax authorities in case of technical issues;
• Maintain company databases using specific software;
• Ensure that team deadlines are met;
• Supervise auditing teams, engaging in the retrieval of relevant client invoices and building good relationships with audit personnel, or perform audits, including the review and analysis of client data;
• Perform invoice assessments, including the preparation of internal invoice assessment reports;
• Prepare internal and external reports, as well as return documents to clients;
• Assist with and support the training of new VAT Recovery Processors;
• Ensure quality control of all client data prior to submission;
• Identify out-of-scope services and provide information to team managers.
• Assist with implementing new tools and technologies and support an AI-driven approach to work

• Fluent in both written and spoken English (and preferably a second language);
• Bachelor's degree holder;
• Excellent written and communication skills, with a strong ability to plan ahead and organize;
• An analytically structured mindset with the ability to follow and build upon existing processes, ensuring data is maintained with accuracy and consistency;
• Good attention to detail;
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook is essential.
